My Story

Hi all - my name is Brin!

I'm raising money for KidsOut by running the Manchester half marathon in October 2019 - this will be my first half marathon. 

I first heard about KidsOut when I attended the ‘Question of Sport’ charity dinner with my employer, Deloitte. I was amazed at the work KidsOut did and felt inspired to help. 

KidsOut believe that all children deserve fun and happiness in their lives and work every day to make it a reality. Whether they have escaped domestic violence or live daily in poverty, KidsOut provide disadvantaged children across the UK with exciting memories to cherish. Through giving hope and building confidence in young people, KidsOut is shaping a better tomorrow.

The money raised will be used to take disadvantaged children on a fun day out, something which they don’t get the opportunity to do! Put simply, the more money raised, the more fun disadvantaged children can have!
