My Story

Yearly, over 20,000 children flee domestic abuse to seek safety in refuges.  Often leaving home wiht only the clothes they are wearing, these children have experienced deep trauma and abuse and arrive at refuges with next to nothing.  In collaboration with Women's Aid, partner charities and corporate supporters, KidsOut works to remind these children and thousands of others living with disadvantages what it's like to be children aagain and just have fun.

Whatever their situation, KidsOut brings fun and excitement into children's lives as well as hope for a better future.  Believing every youmg person has a right to happiness through its life-changing work KidsOut pays a key role iin shaping the future for the better.

Anyone who knows me knows I much prefer life on a yoga mat to in running trainers but I also love a challenge and running around South West London helped keep me sane during lockdown... And so I'm challenging myself to run the Royal Parks Half Marathon for this amazing cause.  Please, please, please give generously :)
