Richard Elliott-Martin @ PropertyCEO Fundraising for KIdsOut
Richard Elliott-Martin
My Story
I am Richard Elliott-Martin, a Property Businessman from Chichester in West Sussex raising money for the KidsOut Charity.
Earlier this year I was invited by Ian Child of PropertyCEO, to the KidsOut Charity Question of Sport Event in London. Prior to this I was unaware of the Charity and the amazing work that the KidsOut team do year on year. Whilst I was sipping my glass of wine, in an half empty room, before the crowds arrived, I couldn't help but notice the poster in front of me. This is what it said.
Just imagine you are a child who has...
NEVER received a gift, NEVER had a brand new toy, NEVER walked on a beach, NEVER been to a theme park, But you have...
LIVED every day in fear of abuse and cried yourself to sleep each night.
Every year the KidsOut Charity provides 50,000 disadvantaged children with a fun day out and hope for a brighter future. This year I ran my first ever race, the Bognor 10k. This was really hard for me, so the Royal Parks Half Marathon is a big committment for me. I will never forget what was written on that poster. Please give generously to help bring some fun to these kids.
